In class we have become bridge engineers. We have now learned which bridges were the strongest and why they were so strong. For extra credit, use what you have learned about support and structure to build another toothpick bridge at home that is even stronger than the ones we made as a group. Extra credit bridges must be brought in to class by Wednesday, November 30th to be tested. Good luck!
Extra Credit Criteria:
1. Your bridge must be student-made with limited adult help
2. Your bridge must be made of wooden toothpicks and liquid white glue
3. A very limited amount of hot glue may be used to attach the sides to the base (8 dots)
4. Your bridge must be at least 10 inches long
5. Your bridge must be less than 8 inches tall
