This week our homework will be a writing prompt to complete at home. Here is a reminder for what is expected to be completed each night:
Monday night: Brainstorm and plan
Tuesday night: Rough Draft
Wednesday night: Revise and Edit
Thrusday night: Final Draft
Our writing prompt for the week is: Where would be a good place to go on a hike? Why would it be a great place to hike? Write a description about this location. What does it look like? How difficult of a hike would it be? You can describe a hike you have been on or make up a hike that you think would be fun to try. Remember, fifth grade writing is longer than a page, but shorter than three pages. Happy writing!

Anonymous, please don`t be mad at Mrs. B. She is very busy and might not have been able to check the blog. You can make up a place. I know it isn`t helpful now that it`s May and all but still, it says so on the prompt paper. Trust me. If you don`t believe me,check again.
