We will begin taking our science state test on Friday, February 24th. We will continue it Monday and Tuesday of next week, breaking it into three short pieces.
We will take our math state test after Spring Break. This is usually the hardest state test for fifth graders, so I want to make sure they have lots of fifth grade math experience and practice before we take it. If you want to practice or prepare at home, the three areas of math to review are division word problems, fractions, and surface area/volume.
If a student did not pass their reading state test the first time, they will retake the reading state test after Spring Break.
